Located in Vaison-la-Romaine, at the foot of the Giant of Provence, the Camping du Théâtre Romain is the ideal starting point for your ascent of Mont Ventoux by bike. Whether you choose the mythical climb via Bédoin, the wilder route via Malaucène or a complete loop around the massif, you stay in the heart of one of Europe’s most famous cycling destinations. Come and take up the challenge while staying in a quiet location close to the pretty town of Vaison la Romaine. After the effort you can relax in the swimming pool and jacuzzi.
Mont Ventoux via Sault. This is the smoothest climb, ideal for a first ascent. Magnificent views of the Gorges du Toulourenc. Return to Malaucène
Mont Ventoux via Bédoin. The most mythical and demanding climb, made famous by the Tour de France. Return to Malaucène
Mont Ventoux via Malaucène. More irregular, more technical. A wilder, less frequented environment. Return in opposite direction or Gorges de la Nesque.
⚠️The descent includes several fast and winding sections. Excessive speed greatly increases the risk of accidents. Keep a safe distance and anticipate each bend.⚠️
